Care Model

C: Compassion
A: Action
R:Responsibility
Equality
The CARE model of Global citizenship represents a set of core values that unite them all, despite the many differences that exist among them. All those are important traits in becoming a more ethical global citizen. With compassion you will be driven in order to help those in need. For one to make a difference one needs to take action, this probably the most important because a lot of people can talk, but to take action is when one will actually make a difference. Responsibility is also very important for being a more ethical global citizen because you must be accountable for all yours actions and only making commitments that you can and will honour. With responsibility one must as well be honest, honesty breaks barriers and allows for finding pure, true, sustainable solutions. Last is Equality, one must strive for fairness by being sensitive to the needs of each individual, seeking solutions that leave everyone better off.  Show respect so that others can see it. The most import criteria in my opinion is action like I said before, it is because I believe in talking less and doing more because that's when we will see a difference.

  1. I completely agree with you when you say, a lot of people can talk or say they are going to do something and then never actually do it. This connects to issues in our world today, someone will say that they love the environment and want to protect it and then they have 4 hummers.
