What Truly is a Human Activist?

When thinking about human rights activists we think about Nelson Mandella, Eleanor Roosevelt, but we never notice the other less known activist around the world. Luis Kutner was a human rights lawyer who practiced in Chicago for more than six decades. Mr. Kutner campaigned for a worldwide habeas corpus code so that any arrested person would be properly charged and, at the court's discretion, released on bail. He also helped found Amnesty international in 1961 which is an international non-governmental organisation whose stated mission is "to conduct research and generate action to prevent and end grave abuses of human rights, and to demand justice for those whose rights have been violated." and he also created the concept of living well. This story really inspired me because one guy made a difference in his community. I have always been fond in trying to make a difference in the world. I have joined many volunteer groups and try to help as much as possible. Kutner story of how he created so much for the State of Chicago especially his campaign for a world wide Habeas Corpus code shows that even one person can change something so big.

Declaration of Interdependence

"We have learned that we cannot live alone, at peace; that our own well-being is dependent on the well-being of other nations, far away.... We have learned to be citizens of the world, members of the human community." Interdependence is basically how we are all connected globaly. Our world today, has become mutually dependant on others. We cannot survive without being connected to other countries. Without trade to and from other countries we wouldn't have money curculating in the economy, and have resources to live. We need countries to be reliable and as they are trustworthy.  David Suzuki made many valid points on how interdepence is present in our generation/century. He makes a valid point stating that our technology tool are so powerful they caused species to go extinct. We produce so much fossil fuels, that the polar ice caps are melting no allowing polar bears to go search for food without drowning. He also states that "The stability of communities of living things depends upon this diversity.Linked in that web, we are interconnected — using, cleansing, sharing and replenishing the fundamental elements of life." Showing that we all stay connected through the internet, and it keeps what we are doing possible, but that causes the form that we rely only on internet and communications. Way David Suzuki says we can fix this is, "All this that we know and believe must now become the foundation of the way we live. At this turning point in our relationship with Earth, we work for an evolution: from dominance to partnership; from fragmentation to connection; from insecurity, to interdependence." He states that there is a drecrease in Biodiversity and erasing of the future, since we are not getting better it will only be worse in the future years.

Italy, what happened?

Firstly im gonna talk about my Arab Israeli conflict reflection, Turkey acts as a neutral country, we have put out sets of goals to join the EU, become economically and politically closer to other Arab nations, we also want to lower oil prices to give aid to palestine. Also Turkey is demanding that Israel lifts it's embargo off the Gaza strip. We are focusing right now on joing the European Union, as we sent out a press release. We have got many emails from the European Union saying that they are pleased to welcome us aboard. The Arab Israeli Conflict helps us understand what  is going on and how our own country can do to make a difference. In one wrong move we can start a war causing much disruption, or we can keep peace which we are trying to keep.

Italy is ranked 8th for largest economy in the world, but Italy faces a huge debt problem of US 2.2$ trillion. The rates on Italian bonds rose past 7 per cent overnight. When Ireland, Greece and Portugal hit this 7 per cent mark - they needed to be bailed out. But Italy is "too big to bail" and the possible contagion effect from a failure of Italy is causing global markets to fall.
There are 3 reasons to be fearful for the Italian Crisis

1) Italy has avery large economy. Its gross domestic product was over $US 2 trillion ($1.97 trillion) in 2010. Greece, Europe's other basket case, has a GDP of $US 305 billion.

2) Italians Debt crisis matters because it's is one of the world's largest markets for government bonds. If Italy cannot pay what it owes on government debt, it will have driven rates on Italian bonds to over 7 per cent. The levels are higher than bond prices which reached in Ireland and Portugal before they had to be bailed out.

3) Analysts Capital Economics calculate that if Italy's cost of borrowing continues to soar, it will have to raise roughly around €650 billion (US$869 billion) for the next three years. Clearly it doesn't have that cash, so it will have to turn to the European Financial Stability Facility, the bailout fund that is backed by Euro stable countries including Germany, France and ofcourse "Italy", but since Italy is in the loop of where it is in debt and needs the help it will have to resort to getting help from the two higher economy countries. The problem is that Germany and France are in the mist of helping Greece out of debt. So it really causes question if Germany and France will even help Italy out of this tradegic debt.
After all this being said italy's premier Silvio Berlusconi will resign and says Italy will either have a new government or early elections soon
